Nursery Admissions 2020

Thank you for considering All Saints Carshalton Church of England Primary School for your child's Nursery education.

Children born between 01 September 2016 and 31 August 2017 are now eligible to apply for a nursery school place.

Mission Statement

We are committed to providing an outstanding education within our Christian community, where all are valued as individuals and given every opportunity to fulfil their potential.

Here at All Saints Carshalton we are very proud of our school and everyone in it.  Our strong Christian ethos is embedded in the life and learning of the school and it is reflected in the values the children develop.  We are a Multi Academy Trust school for children between 3 to 11 years, having close links with Carshalton All Saints Church and other local churches.

At All Saints we have one intake for Nursery in September each year.  Children will be considered for Nursery from the September after their third birthday.  At All Saints we do not have a routine January intake, but if spaces are available these will be offered to applicants with children whose birthday falls in the September, November or December.  Places will be offered according to the admissions policy.

You are very welcome to visit our Nursery, this year the open afternoon is:

Wednesday 16 October 4-6pm

If you would like to book a place on our open afternoon please email our Admissions Officer on admissions@allsaintscarshalton.sutton.sch.uk.  Please state the name of your child and tell us how many adults will be attending.  This open afternoon is an opportunity for you as the parent/guardian of a child to view the Nursery.

At All Saints we have a purpose built Nursery that has its own secure playground area as well as large indoor facilities.  The Nursery is spacious, light and airy.  It has double doors that lead to an outside area.  The entrance to the Nursery can be reached via a pathway at the back of the school, on Talbot Road.

Our Nursery can admit up to 26 children to each of the morning and afternoon sessions.  From these sessions we have a maximum number of 16 government funded 30-hour free childcare places that are allocated at the discretion of the Head Teacher.  Please note that government funded 30-hour free childcare places can only be secured with a verified eligibility code.

What we offer:

If you are interested in government funded 30-hours free childcare please visit the following to sites for information about this process and confirmation of your eligibility:

NURSERY ADMISSION POLICY 2020

Criteria 3, 4, 5 and 7 of the policy all relate to church attendance and if you would like your application to be considered under these terms please ensure that you have completed the relevant sections of the application form.  It is important that you give us full details of the postal and email address for your minister.  Lack of information can result in delay and may affect your application.  We would urge you to talk to your minister and let them know that you have applied for a place at All Saints and that we may be contacting them.

Your application must be accompanied by the original or your child-s birth certificate and a copy of your current council tax certificate.  You will need to allow sufficient time to come into the School Office for these to be viewed, before the closing date for applications.  An application is not considered completed until all this information has been received.  Photocopies, without sight of the originals, will not be accepted and could affect your application.

NURSERY APPLICATION FORM 2020
