Safeguarding and E-safety
Our priority is to ensure our pupils are kept safe and know how to keep themselves away from harm.
We have two Designated Safeguarding Officers: Mrs Emma Hart Dyke (Head Teacher) and Mr Chris Marston (Deputy Head Teacher).
Our Governors with responsibility for Safeguarding are: Mrs Helen Smith (Vice-Chair) and Dr Chi Chi Ekhator (Parent Governor)
We use the PANTS guidance from the NSPCC to help children understand how to keep safe.
They learn that:
P - Privates are private
A - Always remember your body belongs to you
N - No means no
T - Talk about secrets that upset you
S - Speak up, someone can help
The guide below is to support parents when having those tricky conversations with their children about their body, keeping safe and what to do if they are made to feel worried or uncomfortable.
Our IT curriculum includes an element on E-Safety each term. A list of age restrictions for different aspects of social media.
