Nursery Admissions 2021
Thank you for considering All Saints Carshalton Church of England Primary School for your child's Nursery education.
Children born between 01 September 2017 and 31 August 2018 are now eligible to apply for a nursery school place.
We are committed to providing an outstanding education within our Christian community, where all are valued as individuals and given every opportunity to fulfil their potential.
Here at All Saints Carshalton we are very proud of our school and everyone in it. Our strong Christian ethos is embedded in the life and learning of the school and it is reflected in the values the children develop. We are a Multi Academy Trust school for children between 3 to 11 years, having close links with Carshalton All Saints Church and other local churches.
At All Saints we have one intake for Nursery in September each year. Children will be considered for Nursery from the September after their third birthday. At All Saints we do not have a routine January intake, but if spaces are available these will be offered to applicants with children whose birthday falls in the September, November or December. Places will be offered according to the admissions policy.
Please see the attached information sheet which details many of the ways you can help you can help your child feel ready for Nursery. Children all develop at different stages and some skills come easier than others. Please talk to us early on about your child's development so we can understand their needs and advise you about how best to help them develop. One skill that is essential for Nursery though is 'going to the toilet'. Children join our Nursery from 3 years old, so the expectation is that they will be independent in this area and able to self care. Children should not arrive at Nursery in nappies and pull ups, as we do not have provision for this.
If you feel there are any areas of development that your child requires help with, please do contact us early on. Also if you have any questions or concerns about Nursery that are specific to your child please email our Admissions Officer

Sadly this year, because of COVID-19, we will not be able to open our Nusery and invite you in to have a look around.
At All Saints we have a purpose built Nursery that has its own secure playground area as well as large indoor facilities. The Nursery is spacious, light and airy. It has double doors that lead to an outside area. The entrance to the Nursery can be reached via a pathway at the side of the school, on Talbot Road.
Our Nursery can admit up to 26 children to each of the morning and afternoon sessions. From these sessions we have a maximum number of 16 government funded 30-hour free childcare places that are allocated at the discretion of the Head Teacher. Please note that government funded 30-hour free childcare places can only be secured with a verified eligibility code.
